HOW IT WORKS

This pair consists of two identical washers both having a set of cams on one side and a ‘S’ serration on the other. These washers edge each other and lock themselves due to the fact that angle “⍺” of the washer cam is larger greater than the angle “β” of the bolt/screw thread. By fastening the bolt/screw on the washer, the ‘S’ serration on the outside, will grip into both the head of the bolt and the surface material, using tension, instead of friction, to lock the bolt connections.

According to DIN 65151, the junker test need to be done as the most dramatic vibration test for bolted connections. During the test, the joint experience shear movements underneath the bolt head/ nut, while simultaneously measuring the clamping force.

Fig 1 : The profound performance of the bolt/nut connection with SOLIDLOCK, which keep clamping force high and steady even over 10000 cycles, compared with other options.

SOLIDLOCK Has its own fully equipped in-house laboratory using the latest technology and highly advanced testing equipment.
